Your content
We do not claim ownership of the teams, rosters, games, statistics and recordings you add to GameCaller.
That is not the same as saying it is exclusively yours. Much of it cannot be owned by anyone — a jersey number or a final score is a fact — and some of it describes other people, who keep their own rights in it whatever you or we do.
The permission you give us
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content so that we can run, support and improve GameCaller and provide it to you and to the users you share with. This includes passing it to the service providers that turn speech into statistics. It also lets us create derived and aggregated data from your content, which we may keep and use to run and improve GameCaller, including after the content it came from has been deleted.
Shared content cannot be unshared
Sharing a team is not reversible. Deleting a team or a game removes it from your account, but where you have shared it, it stays available to the users you shared it with — you cannot remove it from them, and deleting your account does not either. Content is deleted outright only once no user has access to it.
Note that sharing includes adding managers that can edit the roster, create and score games, and also sharing scores and game results with other people who may continue to track a team and player stats as a viewer.
When the licence ends
The licence ends when the content is deleted from GameCaller, which for shared content means when the last user with access to it deletes it. It continues for copies held in routine backups until those expire, and for derived and aggregated data, which does not end.
Your responsibility
You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for what you add — including to put a player on a roster, and to share that roster and game results with the users you share it with.
