Call the rally. Get the volleyball stats.
Say what decided the point: “Nia sets Avery, Avery hammers it.” GameCaller turns your voice into the set score, play-by-play, player totals, and a complete match recap while you reset for the next serve.
Live volleyballWatch a rally become a stat
See what won every rally
The easiest way to take volleyball stats is to record each rally as it happens. Call the player and the result while both teams reset. GameCaller keeps the set score, play-by-play, and player totals together, so every kill, assist, ace, dig, block, and error has a clear place to land.
- Kills
- Credit the attacker who puts the ball down for the point.
- Attack errors
- Track swings that land out, hit the net, touch the antenna, or get blocked.
- Total attacks
- Build attempts from kills, attack errors, and attacks kept in play.
- Hitting percentage
- Measure attacking efficiency from kills, errors, and total attacks.
- Assists
- Credit the setter or teammate who creates the successful attack.
- Service aces
- Record serves that score immediately or force a reception error.
- Service errors
- Keep missed serves on the server’s line and award the point across the net.
- Reception errors
- Track passes that directly concede an ace to the serving team.
- Digs
- Credit the defender who keeps an attacked ball off the floor.
- Solo blocks
- Record a one-player stuff without turning the block credit into a second point.
- Block assists
- Credit each blocker who shares a two-player or three-player stuff.
- Blocking errors
- Capture net, centerline, reach-over, and back-row blocking faults.
- Ball handling errors
- Record doubles, lifts, and carries on the responsible player’s line.
- Player points
- Combine kills, aces, solo blocks, and half credit for block assists.
One call can hold the whole sequence
A volleyball point often includes more than the final touch. Say “Nia sets Avery, Avery hammers it” and GameCaller records the assist, kill, and point together. Call a double block and it keeps one rally point while crediting both blockers, so the set score does not move twice.
Say what the gym is already saying
Call a kill, tip, dump, ace, dig, assist, solo block, block assist, attack error, service error, reception error, double, lift, or rotation fault. GameCaller understands the difference between a credit and a rally-ending event, including errors that award the point to the other side.
See where the set was decided
Compare kills, aces, blocks, errors, and total points side by side. Those rows show whether a team created points at the net and service line or received them from mistakes across the court. The set-by-set score stays beside the full rally feed when you need the exact turning point.
From first serve to a complete match record
Set the roster before warmups end. Call each rally and the credits that matter. When the final set closes, the player box and team recap are ready.
- 01
Set the roster
Add player names and jersey numbers, then name the opponent. Every rostered player is ready for spoken kills, assists, digs, blocks, aces, and errors.
- 02
Call the rally
Say the player and the result as the teams reset. The live feed shows the event, awards the point to the correct side, and keeps the current set score in view, even when one team scores because of the other team’s error.
- 03
Review every set
After match point, read the score by set, open each player’s full stat line, compare the five point-source rows, and scan the rally feed. The match is ready to share or revisit without rebuilding the book later.
